In a recent viral video, Nigerian comedian Justice Nuagbe, better known as Ushbebe, shared his concerns about the relationship between legendary singer Innocent Idibia, affectionately known as 2Baba, and Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru. Ushbebe expressed discontent with how 2Baba is perceived to be following Natasha like a schoolboy, sparking a conversation about the dynamics of their relationship.
Ushbebe didn’t hold back as he urged 2Baba to break free from what he called an unhealthy attachment. He stated, “I usually prefer to mind my own business, but I couldn’t stay silent this time. What’s going on here? Why the display? Why does it feel like our legend is being treated as if he’s in a primary school setting, with someone guiding him around like a child?”
The comedian humorously appealed for prayers for 2Baba’s liberation, effectively calling on the public to rally in support of the music icon. He remarked, “Legends deserve respect. 2Baba, it’s time to emancipate yourself! I usually keep quiet about such matters, but this one has really struck a chord with me.
Ushbebe’s comments come shortly after 2Baba’s mother, Rose Idibia, also weighed in on the situation, asking Natasha to let go of her son and expressing concerns about his well-being. She even went so far as to suggest that Natasha remove the beads she had placed around 2Baba’s neck and wrist, implying they symbolize a form of control.
