A family in Lagos is mourning the tragic death of their loved one, Osemudiamen Idemudia, a 26-year-old banker who went missing on May 9. His body was discovered in a Yaba morgue on Sunday with deep machete cuts on his head, face, and legs.
According to the morgue attendant, the police brought the corpse to the morgue, but the morgue staff couldn't provide details about the officers or where the body was recovered from.
The deceased's father, Julius, narrated that, after leaving his workplace in Ikota, Lagos, He was last seen around CMS on his way home to Igando but never made it back and his phone was unreachable. Family members decided to search for him in hospitals and morgues in the state.
The family reported the incident to the Igando Police Station, but the state Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, is yet to respond to calls and texts.
