Former Imo State Governor and respected leader, Rt. Hon. Emeka Ihedioha, has condemned the recent killings in Arondizuogu, Ideato North Local Government Area, where several lives were lost last Friday in the communities of Umualoma, Ndiakunwanta, and Ndiejezie.
In a statement, Ihedioha described the violence as “inhuman, unprovoked, and utterly reprehensible,” emphasizing that such acts threaten the peace and stability of the region.
He called on security agencies to investigate thoroughly and ensure that those responsible are swiftly brought to justice. “The safety of our people is non-negotiable. We must work together to end this cycle of violence,” he urged.
Expressing sympathy to the bereaved families and the entire community, Ihedioha prayed for divine comfort and healing.
“May the souls of the departed rest in peace, and may God give strength to those mourning this tragic loss,” he concluded.
