Victor Osimhen has emphasized that the Super Eagles are fully focused on their upcoming match against the Warriors of Zimbabwe.
Osimhen was instrumental in Nigeria's latest fixture, scoring both goals in a crucial 2-0 victory over the Amavubi of Rwanda, marking the three-time African champions' first win in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign. This victory also represents Nigeria's inaugural away win against the East Africans in four attempts.
"I’m very happy for the goals," an excited Osimhen stated to ESPN. "But now our focus shifts to Zimbabwe, and we’ll continue to push forward."
The Super Eagles are set to host the Warriors of Zimbabwe at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo next Tuesday.
