The caucus accused Anyanwu of engaging in anti-party activities, violating Article 58(1)(f) of the PDP Constitution. Furthermore, he was charged with conduct that could disrupt the peaceful and efficient functioning of the party, as stipulated in Article 58(1)(h) of the 2017 PDP Constitution. These accusations stemmed from incidents on January 29 and February 1, 2025, during which he reportedly invited security personnel and others to interfere with the party's normal operations at its headquarters.
Following the committee's recommendations, the National Executive Committee (NEC) of the PDP is set to make the final decision regarding the matter
